Freedom Fighter
Hi-Top Sneakers

Hand made sneakers created by artist Ty Rawls.

Rachael Brian

Just got my Freedom fighter Sneakers yesterday! Way brighter than I thought they would be. Super colorful! Everyone I pass by walking around is looking at my feet! Three strangers asked me where I got them the first day I wore them. If you don’t like attention don’t get these sneakers because you will get lots of it. I love them!!

These Freedom Fighter sneakers get more looks than my Chucks! Never thought that would happen. Super glad I got them. I cant believe Rawls made these! They are way cooler than I thought they would be.

When I saw the ad for these shoes I knew I had to have them. Finally a well made sneaker made with the image of Harriet Tubman. They look even better than do in the commercial! They are colorful and comfortable, these are without a doubt the coolest hi tops I own now, and I have been collecting Chucks for ten years.

Each canvas is prepared with a surface of thick gesso that creates a beautiful layer of frosting to paint on. I developed this process after years of Paul Goodnight's influence. This preparation is partly for the incredible look, and partly for longevity. I know these paintings are an investment so I insist on making them in a way that will ensure they last for hundreds of years.
